Netanya tower and bridge
The elevator tower and bridge from the beach to the head of the cliff on the Netanya promenade.
The elevator to the sea is a unique attraction built in Israel in recent years. It enables easy, convenient descent from the high limestone cliff to the beach in the city of Netanya. In fact, two separate are glass elevators located within the pier with an elliptical cross-section, each with a capacity of 30 passengers.
The elevator is located on the Rishonim beach at one of the high points of the limestone cliff, and enables reaching the beach within 20 seconds.
The elevator interfaces with the promenade through an overhead observation bridge. At the end of the bridge, a balcony jutting towards the sea allows walks over the sea and offers spectacular panoramic views.
